I think I speak for those of us still feeling that “empty space” in the earth today spiritually. It felt like an assault on the body of Christ when this happened. I think about Charlie often and though some may say he was not a martyr.. I would have to strongly disagree.
His arguments (very well thought out and clear) were filled with brilliance and critical thinking. I am thankful that he was able to see one of his prayers and the contending that followed come to pass.
Absolutely, he left a void. I wrote a whole series on his death last year. I will always be changed by that, and I agree, he was a martyr, killed for his faith/beliefs. Thank you for reading and engaging!
